Good-bye Detroit, Hello Georgetown!

After rebooking my flight to DC earlier than originally scheduled due to late Saturday morning and afternoon cancellations because of Hurricane Irene, I made it safely to Georgetown on a 7:30 am flight on Saturday morning. It was my first time back to DC since I left for the summer in mid-May - definitely felt great to be back on the Hilltop. As I drove back onto campus in a SuperShuttle, goosebumps ran down my arms as I realized that I would not be at Georgetown for the entire 2011-2012 academic year.

As I spend this week on the Hilltop, I will have a chance to catch up with friends and various Georgetown faculty members whom I am close with. Also, throughout the week I will post briefly on my hopes for this abroad experience and also give some info on Jordan and what I'll be doing exactly.
